I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Raising Cane's (Jefferson, LA) in Jan 2011
Interview
It was a short interview with the restaurant manager. They asked some behavioral questions and simple why do you want to work here questions. Overall it was very easy and she started to asking for availability right away. and a week later i got the offer and arranged for orientation. But some of my other friends who interviewed did not receive offer from them. I think Cane's really care about friendliness and energy and positive attitudes in its crew.
The process was friendlier than I expected while we talked mostly about the skills that I possessed and what would my contribution to the company be. Overall the experience though me a lot about how to present one self in a formal setting.
Very welcoming and got back to me quickly. The managers there are super talkative so don't be worried about anyone being too weird. A lot of them are on the younger side as well, so that's a plus.
It was easy. Managers didn’t ask anything besides availability. Make sure to seem very cheerful and enthusiastic and they’ll hire you on the spot. The interview probably lasted around 15-20 minutes. Cannot stress how easy it was
