      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2025

      Interview

I applied in mid-July and heard back in early August. The process starts with a one-way video interview, then moves to a live customer service senior assessment where you’re required to answer at least four detailed questions. If you pass that stage, you finally get to a live interview with a person. I made it to the first live interview but was rejected an hour later. It seems the hiring managers are being very particular about who they bring on. This is surprising given that I have over five years of customer service experience and three years of hands on experience with their software. Be mindful when applying this role comes with a lot of hoops to jump through.

      About my experience with Zendesk.

      Interview

Applied online, was sent a one-way interview and some examples of real customer inquiries, which the expectations were to answer as you would a live email. Aftwards, a recruiter screening hiring manager (and an incoming manager who was shadowing) interview, and a final interview with a PM associate and organizational leader. I thought things went well - but I didn't receive an offer. As usual, NO feedback and I'm disappointed in Ramp for that. If you have experience with AI definitely speak those experiences.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ramp

      Interview

They talk to you on the phone for about 30 minutes and then send you an assessment. The assessment has so many rules and regulations and you also have to do a PowerPoint and convert it to PDF. The fact that this job is asking you to do so much when you don’t even work for them yet and you have your own schedule to abide by shows how much they don’t care after I did the assessment they said they do not want to move forward, but they would like for me to speak to someone and give them feedback on their interview process to help them in the future oh yes, they want me to help them after they rejected me to help with their interview process for their company. so happy I did not get a job with them. They show their true colors during the interview.

      Question 1

Same old interview questions you get with any customer service job why do you want to work here tell me a time about the difficult customer.
