I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ranger Power (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2024
Interview
Two interviews, the first one was more of a screen and the second one mostly asked about my experiences. It was all very behavioral and not too technical heavy. They mostly wanted to know about my previous classes and if I knew anything about renewables

Question 1
What class courses have you taken that would apply to this position?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Ranger Power in Nov 2023
Interview
Unfortunately I ignored all the red flags (hiring manager the last interview, no final title, no discussion of salary etc) but nonetheless decided to complete 5 rounds of interviews in 6 weeks; including an onsite interview. Unfortunately after all of these hoops; meeting a total of 14 people - I was rejected. It was clear they needed a People leader badly. While everyone was kind enough; this experience was one of the most disappointing interview processes of my career.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ranger Power
Interview
The first interview was a phone screen with an external recruiter. The next was a 1:1 interview with my potential manager. I was then asked to complete an excel assessment. The final interview was a panel with 6+ people. A week after the panel I was informed via email that I would be receiving an offer. After that I was essentially ghosted for a month and given no answers as to why my offer had not been sent. Finally I was told that they no longer had the budget to bring me on and that maybe they could in 8-12 months. This is the most disrespectful and unprofessional interview process I have ever had. There is something seriously wrong with this place. Stay away!
