I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Real Eating Company (Chichester, England) in Apr 2024
Interview
I went in and told the staff I was there for an interview. Nobody told me where to go so I sat down as the interviewer was with another person. None of the staff told the interview that I was there waiting so when he finished with the last person he just went off and did something else. I tried to catch his eye because I didn't know that he wasn't informed that I was there. After he came back I went over and introduced myself and then the interview took place. The interview was quite hard but relevant for the role.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Real Eating Company (Marble Arch, England)
Interview
Practically non existent. They ask you if you can or cant do certain things and then some questions about yourself (compatibility and experience). After this they will show you around the kitchen and cafe explaining what is what. If you are happy they will then give you a trial “day” and in some cases not even that, they will put you straight to work with no training or trial shift and let you learn on the job.
