      Account Executive Interview

      10 Dec 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Real Geeks

      Interview

Phone screen with the director of sales then an on-site interview with him and another person from sales management. Spent over an hour in the office and was told they were ready to move quickly and would be in touch with next steps. After sending multiple email follow ups I never heard anything other than one reply with "we appreciate the follow up, we will be in touch soon", that was over a month ago. Best thing that happened was them ghosting me.

      Interview

The interviewer didn't even act interested in getting to know me. He wasn't prepared either. He was looking down the entire time - which I know they do that to take notes sometimes, but he never made eye contact with me

      Account Executive Interview

      2 Nov 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Real Geeks in Oct 2022

      Interview

I got an email that the recruiter liked my resume and wanted to interview me. I was excited! Scheduled a 30 minute phone screen from there. We get on the phone and he spends 10 minutes asking about my background and qualifications and then tells me “we don’t actually hire outside account executives, so this would be an SDR role that you could get promoted from.” I am currently an SDR and have no problem with the work, but that’s not at all what was advertised in the job description. Incredibly misleading, and I’m annoyed that I wasted time on an interview for a position I already have - but for way less money.
