I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Realization Center in May 2014
Interview
They didn't care what I had to say or didn't say, I was a warm body. They didn't read my resume, I stumped them with basic clinical terminology and they wound up placing me in a position and location I didn't apply for.
I interviewed at Realization Center (New York, NY)
Interview
The first step was a group interview, with a drug test right after. Then asked to return later in the week to run a group under observation. It was a real group with actual clients, a little weird but the clients were pretty cool with it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work in addiction? They wanted to know if you are in recovery, although this is not their business. Still, it will help you make a positive impression because they value that highly. Also, do not criticize 12 step programs, it will get you rejected immediately
