      Interview

Not the nicest experience. I was invited for a Skype interview for which, not only the responsible person did not show up, I did not get any message after or before. I logged in 10min before the agreed interview time. The interviewer did not login at all, so I sent an email confirming if everything was fine. As an answer, I got an "out of office" automatic reply. 30min after the agreed interview time, I decided to call (as I was already confused and afraid that it had been my mistake). As expected, the interviewer was not in the office. The only thing left to do was trying to reach the mobile contact. The interviewer was driving in the traffic and asked me to wait 45min/1h if possible. I still had some on going university assignments, so I started working on them as I was waiting for the interviewer to come online. However, I did not hear from the interviewer again that day (not 45min, not in 1h...not at all). Intrigued with all that happened, I decided to send an email asking if something had gone wrong or if there had been any unexpected mistake with my application. The week after I had an answer with a brief explanation and an invitation for a new interview a couple of days after. Not incredibly professional, I am afraid...

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Ar very strange interview aspect was the fact that the interview was conducted through Skype and the interviewer did not have his camera on (something like talking with someone you could not see but who could see you). Besides that, questions were quite easy: * your interests * strengths, weaknesses * strong focus on previous job experiences.
