I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Redpine Signals (Hyderābād) in Jan 2011
Interview
Poor, some very silly and vague questions. just required very little thinking. Not great interviewer. Test evaluation was also poor. Hardly any time spent on finding the candidate's true potential.

Interview
Redpine came for campus placements. After a brief presentation, through which we were told that it's an emerging company in wireless space with numerous patents, we had a written test. Test was of subjective nature, with questions from digital and analog electronics, communications, C language and aptitude. Such a mixed nature of questions was a bit of a surprise. After that, we had interviews, only technical. Questions were asked based on our interests: digital VLSI, communications or analog. I gave the digital VLSI one, in which questions were asked from STA, FIFO, adders, microprocessors as well as from my CV.

Question 1
The mixed nature of written test surprised me! I had to completely leave the communications part as I didn't prepare that, although I was still selected for interviews. Then, question from FIFO was unexpected, and knowing this, the interviewer guided me to the answer.
