Interview
One of my colleges referred me to the hiring manager and the hiring manager called me for about 50 minutes and asked detailed research question on my resume. And also some behavioral question like tell me an experience that you met a challenge and overcome the challenge.
Phone screen with HR, then virtual interview with hiring manager. Very nice people, easy to talk to and encouraging. Next step is a panel interview, however I did not move forward in the process.
I had a recruiter call who scheduled me for an interview with the hiring manager. After meeting with the hiring manager, I never really heard back until I emailed to ask about my status and then was told they went with someone else.

1 call with HR, 2 online interviews, then they flew me out for a full day panel interview with about 16 people. Took about 2 months. Very in depth process with good vibes, just for them to tell me they are going in another direction.
