Interview
aken aback by the lack of industry awareness, which includes asking what Agile is. The director I spoke with defaulted to stating Regeneron is a company of scientists, where you can find a PhD in any direction you look. I found this ironic as the hiring manager did not have a PhD nor a research background.
There is no strategic direction as only nauseating cliches were used to describe the path forward (e.g., faster, drive value, innovative, efficiency, raise the bar).
Compensation was severely below market value.
6 interviews in the course of consecutive days. i appreciated the efficiency and fast decision making - I guess there was a rush to fill this position. During the interviews I felt comfortable, and I appreciated the conversations rather than feeling interrogated! It was a good experience

What strategy I would propose based on current state of the company
Thorough process, presentation included. They give you a case to present to the interviewers. In total it could be 3-4 step process interviewing lot of stakeholders. They were timely in getting back to me with the result

Screen with HR recruiter, then initial interview with hiring manager. This is followed by panel and individual interviews with 12 more people ( lower level co workers, peers, manager, manager +1 level).
