The application process was a major red flag. After applying through a job board, I was sent an email to create an online account at Remx's website. Once the account was created I was prompted to fill out on-boarding documents including a W2. Call me crazy but I think you only need to complete a W2 once you've been hired for a position, and no application should need your social security number.
When I tried to call to get my online account deactivated, I was forwarded to a call center that could not help me, and could only provide me an email address to send my issue on to.
If it's this difficult to get a hold of someone, it's not worth spending time on or risking my personal information.
