I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rentokil Initial (Manchester, England)
Interview
I recieved a phone call a few weeks after applying from Stephen, asking if I was still interested in the position.
As I was, Stephen held a phone interview with me, which lasted around 10-15 minutes. I told Stephen a bit about myself and my motives for applying, and Stephen told me about the company and about the role I would be doing, and there were also a few questions relating to situations I've encountered in previous roles and how I resolved them.
It was very friendly and relaxed, and towards the end of the conversation Stephen invited me to go for an interview with the manager at the local depot the following week.
The face to face interview was with Leanne, and was very similar in format to the phone interview. Leanne went in to detail about the role and asked a few questions about me and transferable skills I have from previous roles.
Once again the interview was relaxed and friendly, and really just felt like having a chat!
Later that day i got a call from Stephen, inviting me to go out with one of the drivers for the day, which I was very happy to do.
The following week I went out with the driver on his round, and it was great to get a feel for the job and see some of what I would be doing.
