I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rentokil Initial (Brighton, England) in Jul 2020
Interview
I applied online through the company's website with my CV and cover letter. I was contacted the next day by the company and I was invited to a telephone screening interview, with Matthew, where I was asked basic screening questions, what I knew about the company and competency questions around customer service, flexibility and leadership.
I then sat a video interview with the senior and local operations managers, Scott and Stuart. I was asked what I knew about the graduate programme, the company and innovations in Rentokil. I also learnt more about the role and the work involved.
I then observed a technician at work for a morning. I did not have a vehicle so the technician arranged his site visits close together so that I could walk to each site. I was supplied with basic PPE and social distancing measures were taken. Mick, the technician, answered all my questions and gave demonstrations.
In the afternoon, I had a face-to-face interview with the senior and area operations manager, Scott and Andy. I was asked again about my knowledge of the company, the graduate programme, the morning with the technician and other questions on relocating, future prospects and previous work.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rentokil Initial (Southend-on-Sea, England) in Sept 2024
Interview
Quite lengthy overall due to some issues but never felt like I was being kept in the dark. 4 stages including a field day that was very useful, the others being an initial phone interview then 2 video calls before and after the field day. Callum and Jess assisted me throughout the process and were both very helpful and kind.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rentokil Initial (Tilbury, England) in Mar 2022
Interview
The whole interview process was great. It was all organised by Siobhan, who was brilliant. She conducted the first telephone interview and kept me up to date with what was going on throughout the whole process. The interview process started with a telephone interview, followed by an in person field interview (more of a taster session than an interview), followed by an online interview with the management in the region I applied for. The field interview was the best part of the process for me, as I went around with a technician who was open to answering any questions, and it was a great first hand view of what the job actually involves.

They asked me to describe my university/work history
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rentokil Initial (London, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
3 stage interview process. Stage one was a telephone interview which was more about my willingness to do the role (fear of heights etc), and online competency test. Stage 2 was an online videocall interview which was more focused around my skills, abilities and knowledge of the company. Stage three was a taster shift followed by a face to face interview which was more orientated towards my desire for the role and intentions/future plans.
this interview process was very straightforward and easy to understand, the questions were relevant and concise and the interviewers were exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly Siobhan and Scott. Their friendly demeanour really put me at ease during the interview process.
