Dear SS,
Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry about your experience and would like to take this opportunity to clarify the process to you. First of all sincere apologies on the delay in the start of the meeting. We also apologized to you in the interview for the delay.
On your second comment on your university let me clarify the reason for the question:
Your resume showed your university as Gautam Budh University in India– while on your linkedin profile you list Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering as your university in India. Our question was to clarify if they are the same universities. As you mention there are thousands of universities in the world and we haven't heard of most of them, therefore we apologize if the question made you uncomfortable.
To clarify your third comment - please consider all virtual interviews as face to face interview. If you feel uncomfortable looking at the camera or the person who is interviewing you, please let us know in advance and we can switch to phone interview to make it easier for you.
On your last comment that the interviewer was uncomfortable that you had a job offer already, I believe you are misrepresenting the conversation. Your request in the interview was that you have an offer already, and if the interviewer can better the offer by 20K. Kindly let the interviewing company know in advance that you have a job offer and you are looking to either match or better the offer. We do not consider this as a fair practice to the company that had made the offer to you and would have cancelled the interview with you to prevent wasting your and our time.
Once again I apologize that we could not meet your expectations on your compensation ask and wish you the very best in the new job.
