Very good experience! I got a message from Restack on LinkedIn and it caught my attention, because the product looked cool.
The process took a week and consisted of three steps:
1. Call with the CEO, where I learned more about the company and the role.
2. Call with the CTO - a discussion focused on my technical background and motivation.
3. Tech interview which consisted of a short technical discussion, followed by a backend and a frontend coding challenges. Both challenges were simplified versions of certain Restack features, which is cool in my book as I strongly dislike leetcode-style tests.
Everyone I spoke with was very nice, respectful, and transparent. My only nitpick is that the tech interview was scheduled for 45 minutes, but in fact lasted longer, so I felt like there was some time pressure even though there was none.
In the end I accepted a different offer for personal reasons, but I thoroughly enjoyed the process and liked the product and the team’s attitude.
