First, their recruiter called out of the blue, without scheduling, while I'm at work. She asked few questions and then scheduled an interview with the hiring manager. The interview was pleasant and he said he will send the work assignment which suppose to take "about 2-3 hours". Eventually it took me the whole day.
I was invited to their offices to present the assignment, and according to their questions they didn't even look at the assignment before, which I find weird and disrespectful.
After the presentation, I asked a few questions about the work environment and their flexibility towards parents, and I think they didn't like these questions and that's why I got rejected.
Their recruiter just called to say that they won't move on without any actual reason, and when I asked for a feedback, she mumbled and said I don't have enough experience, which is bs as they knew my experience perfectly well all along. I guess they're not very into WLB.

Questions about the presentation and why I did what I did
I applied online. I interviewed at Revuze in Aug 2025
Interview
The screening was a list of 4 questions to reply to via email. After that, I moved to the next round. The person I met with was distracted and couldn't get me off the call quick enough. Disappointed I was not given the courtesy to warrant someone's full attention. I did not receive an offer, but I also would not have accepted one.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Revuze
Interview
Pleasant people, short and quick process. First interview with a recruiter, that scans for innitial fit. Then an interview with team lead, and then an interview with one of the co-founders.

They wanted to make sure I'm experienced with SQL and BI tools, and asked a lot about previous experience.
