Richards/Lerma interview questions

Had a good/brief interview and was told I’d move onto the next round of interviews during the first interview. Later, I received correspondence from a different employee than the one that interviewed me that I would not be moving forward with the next round of interviews. Overall, disappointed that I was given false hope and that there was a lack of professionalism during this process.
