I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ricoh
Interview
The hiring process consisted of 4 parts. First, if your application was selected someone would call you, ask you a few questions and if they deemed you a good fit, they would schedule you for an over the phone interview. When the person calls for the over the phone interview, they will ask you scenario type questions. What would you do if or Have you ever had this happen and if so, what did you do to correct. After passing this part, they schedule you to come in for a face to face interview. In this process, they ask you a lot of the same what if questions and also go over the salary and hours. If you have been selected after this part, the 4th and final part is they offer you the job.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ricoh (Macon, GA) in Mar 2012
Interview
Submit application > Phone interview > In-person interview
It took multiple attempts to get an interview. I applied for this position for a year before I was finally selected for an interview. I wasn't actually selected until I had a current employee recommend me for the position. I had to make my resume match the position and explain how my current skills were transferable to the AR world.
