I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ridecell (Pune) in Jun 2019
Interview
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
So interview comprises of 7-8 rounds.
First intro call with Hr asked normal hr questions. In this clearly mentioned my salary expectations.
Then hacker rank test and one preliminary technical round(kind of ds round) happened on hangout.
After this take-home project than one more technical hangout round.
Then one hangout call with engineering manager after all this they called for f2f in their office for doing the extension of take-home assignment.
Then one Hr round followed by the director of engineering round that day only.
After so many rounds had one more call with their India's head.
So after clearing all this round hr went away for two weeks and after that, she confirmed that they wish to go forward but salary she will discuss next week. She asked for all the documents(salary slips, pervious offer letter, etc) before discussing the salary numbers.
Then she came with a number with a 10% increase in my current CTC(no increase in base salary) and told her have mentioned my expectations in intro call only.
Till now she is saying will update you next week. Not have the decency to write a mail and clearly mentioned she should have not started the process in the first place.
So please be aware of before starting the process in ridecell as when it comes taking interview they behave like top product companies but when salary comes they will only say update soon.
