Short and sweet, great questions.
It was a 2 step process, first was a phone interview and the second was in person and then offer.
I liked the people I spoke with.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RigUp (Austin, TX) in Jan 2020
Interview
The whole experience seemed to be a bit off. After meeting the fourth recruiter to schedule my interview, I was left in a room alone for about 15minutes before the first candidate showed up. No apology and they actually continued to talk to other people passing by. None of the interviewers seemed to have a structured approach nor predetermined questions. They also did not seem to have a clear understanding of their roles nor the teams they were building. It was scary for a company that has raised so much money.

Interview
Straightforward process including an assessment. During the panel I could tell almost everyone was quite intelligent. HR rep was arrogant. Wasn't chosen which is fine but ghosting and late generic rejections are a bit outdated right? Also, you shouldn't ask people if they have connections in the industry. Most people who have those connections are born with them. It's not fair to judge candidates based on this.
