Interviewers hammered down on my technical knowledge pretty extensively, but you could definitely tell that they were looking for very high caliber people. They were courteous and friendly during the interview; they even took a step further and reviewed my strenghts/weaknesses, and what I should work on to revisit the interview process in the future, should I still be interested.
Ultimately, I did not get the position because I did not play enough of the game. While I understand that a certain degree of mastery with the product is necessary, I believe the pre-requisite of being a religious League of Legends player before a serious consideration/investment is made from the company's part automatically removes many gifted candidates from the pool which could have made significant contributions to the overall effort, and also prevents the company from having a non-LOL perspective/POV to balance things out.
