I have just had the most extraordinary telephone conversations with a "Recruitment Consultant", during which, the consultant spent the entire time trying to dissuade me from progressing. Clearly they were on some kind of agenda. I had to cut the conversation short, out of pure embarrassment, particularly when they were asking the same questions over, in the hope of finding a reasonably legitimate reason, not to continue. By their own admission, I was more than capable of fulfilling this role, and requested several times during the conversation, that I wish to progress. Very bizarre and questionable behaviour.
