      Operations Manager Interview

      5 Oct 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Wilsonville, OR
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Rite Aid (Wilsonville, OR) in Feb 2016

      Interview

Applied for the job in November; called for an interview February the next year. They seemed nice, but the questions were scripted-they didn't seem to ever go off script, so it was difficult to read whether they were genuinely interested in me as a candidate, or what they were like as co-workers. Gave the appearance that it wasn't a very fun place to work, not that fun is everything, but most people at least show some personality. I was not offered a position, but if I was, I probably would not have accepted it.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

They asked questions specific to my experience that would qualify me to manage the managers of the various departments and contribute to a successful operation.

      Question 2

Describe a time when something didn't go as planned and if there was a successful result despite the challenges-hire was success achieved.
      Answer question

      Question 3

They asked me to describe a training program I developed.
