Was referred by current employee. Had two interviews - 1 with recruiter and 1 with hiring manager. The recruiter asked generic questions about experience, salary requirements, and whether I’d be fine with relocating. She didn’t know how to answer what the role’s advancement opportunities would look like and was rude and taken aback when questioned. However, she said she’d setup an interview with the hiring manager. The interview with the hiring manager was pretty standard. Unfortunately, my webcam and connection failed right when the interview began, so we had to conduct the interview over the phone, so we started on a rough foot. However, the hiring manager was unenthused and seemed fed up with her role and didn’t care to talk much. A week or so after the interview, the recruiter notified me that they wouldn’t be moving forward, but would keep my resume on file.
