The company responded to my application through Indeed and sent over a zoom link with an interview time. The invitation was scheduled for Central time; though we are Pacific, I didn't think much of it. Come time for the interview, no one showed up to the Zoom call. I sat on the call for 15 minutes, wrote the company, waited another 15 minutes, but no one showed up. I tried again at the Central time, in case the interviewer didn't catch the time difference, but again no one showed up. I wrote the company again, asking if there was a mistake in the Zoom link or scheduling, but no one has responded. It's been a week. I do not understand going through the trouble of setting up a meeting only to ghost the candidate. It's completely unprofessional and disrespectful for someone who took time off work to do the interview.
