I don't even remember applying for this position on LinkedIn but I got an email to set up an interview so I went with it. They didn't mention that it was going to be a group until we got on the Zoom call. The guy holding the interview was like "surprise!" The vibe was off going into it. Everyone introduced themselves and gave a short background. Almost everyone had a background or education in actual marketing. He asked about what we knew about brand ambassadors and two people answered. One of the girls looked so mad and asked him to clarify what the position actually was and it would be selling hone decor services to Costco members or something. Completely unrelated to a junior marketing assistant. I think it would have been better to just be honest and upfront a out the title of the position instead of baiting people like that. Luckily everyone, I think, left the Zoom call before it dragged out. Even if this was a job I was looking for, I wouldn't want to work for a dishonest company like this.
