I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Lacey, WA) in Nov 2017
Interview
Applied for an Area Supervisor position online, went through the long questioner then was called 3 days later and asked to come in at 10:30am for an interview. I show up at 10:20am and then was told that apparently my interview was at 10am? So I waited then when I finally got my interview they explained to me that they are only hiring for seasonal partime associates and that there is no supervisor position available. It was such a waist of time and effort. I wish they would told me over the phone at least. So unprofessional.
It took about a half hour to an hour. They have an assistant manager or store manager interview you and tell you about the job and company. They ask what position you want if you’re on the retail side because there’s several areas to work in.
It was super smooth. Everyone took the time to. Inform you what to expect and they were super nice. At the end they made sure all questions were answered .

Question 1
What did you do in your last job that will help with this job you applied for?
I applied online. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Snellville, GA) in May 2024
Interview
I received a call, The person spoke quickly and I did not understand where they were calling from, when I requested they repeat the question, she said "it sounds like you don't know what job you applied for. " When she actually repeated "Ross" I said "oh yes, I just applied for it on Friday" She asked "how much do you want per hour", I asked the range and she said it starts at $14.50 (area supervisor) so I said I would think something closer to $20. The lady said "ok" and hung up, There was no good bye, or follow up, just a click of the phone.
When I was applying for the role, there was no salary range, and there was a 35 minute "test" on scheduling and a personality test.
