I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Signal Hill, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
Group interview. Took about 40-50 minutes. Had the store manager and assistant interview us. Interview was at 3:30, Although had to wait like 15-20 minutes until we actually had to interview. It was a bit difficult to hear what the store manager was trying to ask and sometimes had to repeat herself because she has a thick accent. But besides that it was easy. Basic interview questions. Although they are a lot of questions. It was also held in the break room.

Question 1
Why should I hire you? Tell us about yourself. What is your weakness?
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
