      4 Nov 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I applied online. I interviewed at Rover.com

      Interview

the recruiter call went shorter than usual, and it sounded like the recruiter didn't really know the job responsibilities and team well enough to give any useful information regarding the position.

      Interview

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      Interview

I was contacted by a recruiter to arrange a first interview with the hiring manager, but then she looped in a second HR person that would actually arrange the meeting itself. Overall, messy first impression. Should've seen this as a red flag. After I had a first interview with the hiring manager I promptly sent a follow-up email. Everyone went radio silent for about 10 days, so I sent a second follow-up email to both recruiters. In turn, 15 mins later they sent a generic, automated rejection email via a no-reply email address. It seems like they forgot about me, and when I sent my email, they suddenly remembered but were unbothered to even reply from their personal emails with a slightly more respectful message. Reading other reviews here, I noticed this is a pattern, even for people that went through several rounds of interview. Truly disrespectful.

      Question 1

I was asked to speed-run a case study in about 15 minutes, and the hiring manager asked some practical questions about salary , starting date etc
