Initially had a phone screen with the HR manager. Next was the hiring manager. Then they asked me to come down to their facility for an on site interview. Only spoke to the HR mgr and hiring mgr and there were no real questions. Went to lunch, had a tour, and was asked what questions I had. HR mgr mentioned they were fans of promoting internally but corporate was for recruiting externally.
The following week, I was asked to go to Dallas, TX to interview with the hiring mgrs boss and the director of HR. Interviews were one hour long.
Took about 3 or 4 days to get any feedback which was they had decided to promote from within. They were looking for answers about "I" and weren't too interested in my "we" approach based off the feedback.
For the trip to Dallas, I paid for my flight which with two days notice was quite expensive. I had over 2 grand in expenses from my two trips and it took the company 2 months to reimburse me. Avoid paying for expenses out of pocket.
