      R&D Engineer Interview

      21 Apr 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Aberdeen, Scotland
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Rubberatkins (Aberdeen, Scotland) in Apr 2022

      Interview

Application submission followed by an online interview. The technical interviewers didn't seem very keen nor happy to be there. Little back-and-forth discussion on topics and just generally didn't seem all that interested in finding out more information on myself or my expertise. However, the woman that lead the interview process did a fantastic job and was very friendly throughout. The final negative impact was no email of confirmation of acceptance/rejection, just radio silence. If you have someone go through the courtesy of applying to work at your company at an interview stage, at least let them know. Accepted job offer elsewhere.
