I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SBH Fashion in Dec 2025
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me about a great opportunity via LI and my personal email. After a couple of messages back-and-forth, we scheduled a time to connect via phone. Five minutes before the scheduled phone call they canceled. Simultaneously, a colleague of theirs reached out to me about the same exact role, not knowing that the first recruiter had been in contact with me. After I corrected their internal duplicate of effort, I finally spoke with the original recruiter. Post-call, I sent a thank you email and follow up expressing my interest in the role. I received a response email asking for information I had already provided during our conversation. Despite my 20+ years of experience and having spent the last four years in a nearly identical role, I was eventually told I was too junior for the position. Eventually, the role was filled by someone with way less YOE.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked what I did in between my last two roles, even though it is noted on my LinkedIn, detailed in my résumé that was previously sent, and was discussed in the initial phone screening.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at SBH Fashion (New York, NY) in Dec 2025
Interview
Completely ghosted by one recruiter after having set up a zoom interview to start the screening process. I logged on and waited about 15 minutes before I sent a quick email. Did not hear back so I followed up with him/her the next day. Never heard back. Confirmed the time, date and meeting invite and I was just completely ghosted after spending time preparing.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SBH Fashion (New York, NY) in Jun 2024
Interview
A very strange and terrible screening process. A Bunch of people reach out and send multiple emails, but never respond and never follow up. Then consistently send more emails about the same job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Consistently sent emails asking if I wanted to speak, and when I respond, get another email from someone else asking if I want to speak.
