I applied online. I interviewed at SECO Energy (Sumterville, FL) in Mar 2021
Interview
There were five rounds involved in this lower-middle management position. After completing two phone and two video interviews, I traveled to Florida for an in-person interview. I arrived for my interview at 8:30am and began the day with two computer/skill assessments. After I completed the assessments, I interviewed with three managers for about an hour, then two more managers entered the room to continue the interview until lunch was served. Once lunch was completed, I continued the day with two additional panel interview session- the first was a group of 15 consisting of all of whom would be my direct reports, the other 12 of my direct peers. At about 3:00 that afternoon, I met with the direct manager for this position and then the VP of the department. It was a very stressful process to no avail. I can't even imagine what they would put an executive or senior management candidate through during the interview process....things have definitely changed since the pandemic.
