I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at SESO (Austin, TX)
Interview
Around 5 rounds of interviews: recruiter, sale manager, and sales director. Then I had to role play a sales pitch and explain my prospecting process. And lastly, I met with the CEO.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
CEO asked me to pitch the products and services from the previous company I worked at.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SESO in May 2025
Interview
I first spoke with the recruiter, who was great. She gave me a great picture of the company and really sold me on their mission. My second interview was with the manager over the role and it was also great. In both interviews they were clear that this was a sort of exploratory posting so in no way made me believe it was anything else. She and I also discussed other roles that I might be a good fit for. I didn't get an immediate offer, but that they closed the role and I was a top choice. They just have to take some time to consider what's best internally before bringing someone on. I really appreciate that in a startup that they are taking the time to really evaluate not only the need but also where the potential talent may best fit within the company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time where you had to craft a solution to a client's complex problem. (or something similar...can't remember exactly)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SESO in May 2025
Interview
Had an initial phone call with internal recruiter. Half and hour before we were supposed to have it, it was rescheduled to the next day.
Next day, we have the interview. Lots of rapid fire questions. "Why did you leave this job? What is your biggest strength? What is your weakness?"
Did not hear back from them.
