I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SOL REPUBLIC (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
More or less your standard interview. We started really informal, talking about what I like to do in my free time. Then into the design director talking about the company culture and design process. And then of course I walked through my portfolio.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SOL REPUBLIC (Wilsonville, OR) in Aug 2013
Interview
Two separate interviews with Operations Manager and Customer Support manager. Because the company was in it's infancy, it was explained that I would need to wear many hats and be able to help out in different departments as the business develops. I was also made aware that due to the start-up nature of the company, the longevity of the position and even the company was something that could not be promised.

Question 1
How I was able to overcome a difficult situation to meet a goal/ objective?
It was relatively easy -- just one step with the VP of Marketing at that time. Very open-ended and allowed for a lot of questions about the role and the company.
