I received an email requesting to schedule an interview with me, after having to provide multiple days and times, one was scheduled. At the time I had applied the job posting I saw did not provide a salary range, but after a virtual interview was scheduled and I was preparing for the interview by taking another look at the posting, I saw that now there was a salary listed, and it was LOW for the skill they want. I sent a polite message to my interview asking them to confirm that the range I saw was accurate, because if it was would not be able to consider the job and I didn't want to waste her time interviewing me. I never received a reply so I thought maybe she hadn't seen my email, because it would only have taken 20 seconds to give an answer. So because I at least am a professional, I didn't want to ghost the interviewer, so I joined the interview and the interviewer wasn't there. I gave her grace that she might be running late from a prior interviewer so I waited even though I had a lot of work to do. She never showed up, here I took my time to be polite and show up because she never acknowledged receiving my email. I guess I should not have bothered to show manners, since she clearly had none. If she was offended that I said their salary was not one I could consider, well them pay people what their skills are worth! Unprofessional interviewer means this must be a bad company.
