The hiring was relatively quick and involved a brief phone interview to assess my skills and a follow up in person interview to go over my stated skills, the terms of the contract, and what I would have to do in order to work there; which involved a brief background check and being licensed as an Independent Contractor for Fairfax County Public Schools. They gave me all the instructions I needed and were very straightforward about it.
