I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Saab Group (Gothenburg, Västra Götaland) in Mar 2012
Interview
Two interviews. One with my future boss, and one with a HR person. The interview with HR was pretty much going through a standard personality test I had made online in advance. She only brought up pleasant results, like that I was energetic and caring. So nothing to be afraid about really. My future (or nowadays present boss) mostly talked about stuff like how it was working for Saab back in the days of the cold war. He was very impressed with my knowledge within subjects like submarine incidents and old fighter jet models. Practice your cold war history, chances are you boss doesn't know what C++ is anyways.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None really. The HR women asked my about my weak sides.
1. A formal classical interview that takes around 45- 60 minutes to finish. They didn't ask any technical questions, but they asked if I had any previous experience in the related field (from the job post). A security clearence is mandatory for the job.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Saab Group (Syracuse, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interviewers were very friendly, and the questions I was asked were very informative. I was sick at the time, but they accommodated for that well. Overall, low stress and simple interviewing process.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Saab Group (Syracuse, NY)
Interview
Formal but friendly. The HR arranged the time and date for the interview. They also cover the flight to Syracuse, one night at the Double Tree hotel, and rental car. The hiring manager himself came down to the company's lobby to escort me to the interview room. He was very nice and friendly. The interview went very well with the hiring manager first, and then one-on-one with his team, who themselves were nice and friendly. Questions were mix between technical and behavioral but nothing out of the normal.
