I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Safeway (Pleasanton, CA) in Feb 2011
Interview
Went to Headquarters and was interviewed by pharmacy manager, who asked just a few
questions. The only thing at that time, which now is normal, is that asked about being OK to be
drug tested. A lot of the interview, did same to be about this. My guess is somewhere along the
line, they must of really had some problems here.

Question 1
Why are you coming to Safeway? When can you start ? Can you commute? and would you take

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Safeway (Walnut Creek, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Very Cool. Interesting. When a customer complains about how long they had to wait, which can sometimes happen when there is not enough people working, how would you handle talking to this customer?

What is your definition of happy and healthy? How can you use your past experiences to benefit you in this new environment?
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Safeway (Pleasanton, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
The interview process was fairly simple, once hired you are trained at the HQ for the NorCal region anyway. The training is excellent. They go through the PDX pharmacy OS and Policy and Procedures manual with great skill. Very competent trainers.
