I applied online. I interviewed at Safeway (Sunnyvale, CA)
Interview
The interview for checker was a breeze. I originally applied to work at the Starbucks, but they had no room as they were overstuffed in that front. The manager or any one really in a somewhat high position, invites you in one on one. They ask you a few simple interview questions and then make you take a saliva drug test. There's some paperwork and lots of signing.
Honestly, if you know interview basics, seem like you are interested in working and dress fairly nicely for the interview you've got the job. And even if you don't get hired for the job you came in for, often times they'll offer you a job for another position that you are more qualified for (or just where they need people).
Straightforward, and the company human resources person as well as their manager were both highly effective in requesting the required information necessary to ensure the determination of all of the relevant facts pertaining to my potential employment.
Went to the store got an interview asked for manager and it was fine. simple but the place is not good to work for. Was not a good experience and I will not go back in to even shop
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Safeway (Cheney, WA) in Jul 2018
Interview
My availability was the most important aspect of the job and being time. Understanding the customers and learning to help others when needed. Always go to the manger if you don’t know what your doing.
