First of all Kudos to the HR , she was prompt in giving the feedback and setting up next rounds of interview immediately.
There were 2 technical rounds at first
Technical round 1: .Net , React and system design questions , some coding , overall good standard of questions
Technical Round 2: In depth Sql questions and some Cloud concepts here and there , overall good questions
3rd Round was a Delivery manager round apparently: That guy hasnt coded in ages and himself admitted that he isn't in touch with coding and designing since a long time, the call was scheduled for 30 mins and it was told to me that it will be a non technical round , he asked me the deployment design to which I kept asking if he meant deployment strategy when I explained it to him in Aws terms he started asking what is a Route53 , what is a Dynamodb , what is health check in a Highly available Disaster tolerant design? When I explained it to him he started asking how can S3 host a React website?
It was almost an hour and he wanted me to convince him that I was worthy of being deployed to a client project. After an hour I told him clearly if you are not understanding what I am saying then there is no point dragging this interview further.
So my point is if not familiar with AWS then why initiate a conversation about cloud deployed applications at all.
