      Engineering Manager Interview

      26 Jan 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Samsara (London, England) in Jan 2024

      Interview

Horrible Interview Process. The recruiter didn't show up for the first call. Had to reschedule. On the 2nd rescheduled call, the recruiter showed up more than 5 minutes late and seemed very unbothered about being late. She looked bored throughout the interview and asked very few questions. Overall she seemed biased and there was already a predicted outcome. They later sent an email saying they had already selected someone else for the role

      Engineering Manager Interview

      5 Feb 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Samsara (London, England)

      Interview

Typical recruiter phone screening, one hour phone interview and on-site interview with the different stakeholders during the whole day including lunch a technical "hackerrank" test and an architecture/design interview. The phone interviewer interviews you again in person, same questions, which feels a bit repetitive. Good luck with the architecture interview, you have to imagine what do they want exactly or what type of design they are thinking about otherwise you're done.
