I applied through university. I interviewed at Samsung Austin Semiconductor (Austin, TX) in Oct 2020
Interview
There were two interviews. A basic phone interview followed by an extremely intense behavioral interview panel. The behavioral interview was conducted with two panels composed of three people apiece. Be warned and prepared: they are some of the WORST communicators with information I've ever been apart of. Even after going through the entire interview process, I never received a rejection email. It took me emailing them multiple times to hear back about my first interview. This is something that very much needs to be improved.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was continually asked hypotheticals of questions. For example, I was asked "Name a time when a team member poorly contributed to your team result and a supervisor told you?" I answered it then they continued it with "What did you learn?" then with "would you handle the situation differently now?" following with "So the real world isn't like that, say for example...." This would go on for a few more questions.
