3 stages interview - phone, video and assessment day.
Phone interview - the usual, mainly to get to know more about you as a person and a bit about your experience.
Video interview - you will have to do a 3 min video presentation of the USPs of a Samsung product (your choice). After the presentation there are few other questions that I will add in the next section. Average interview, be prepared though, focus on customer service, competition, relationship building, innovative thinking and a strategic plan of how you will improve the training or conduct the training for your region.
Assessment day - a full day in Manchester, 5 interviewers, very engaging discussions, you will be out of your comfort zone but a great experience. There will be 2 group exercises in the first part of the day.
1st Assessment: In groups of 3 to 4 you will have 20 min preparation to pull together a training plan and presentation on the Samsung S6. You will need to talk them through what the plan looks like and present back some ideas as to how you would bring the product to life, ensuring customer engagement from your audience and knowledge retention. You will have 10 min to present back and everyone in your group must participate and present.
2nd Assesment: Similar with the 1st one - There are 3 types of learning: visual, oral and kinesthetic. You have to present innovative ideas of training for each and one of the learning types. 20 min preparation and 10 min presenation.
There is lunch after the group sessions and for the rest of the day they you will have the individual /panel interview with 2 or 3 recruiters. There are mainly situation based questions (tell me about a time when ...) so be prepared with few examples from your experience.
Confidence, charisma, good communication skills and innovative thinking are the qualities they are looking for.
Good luck !
