The interview process was overall intense and deeply intrusive. First I had an in-person interview at the store. I was asked little about why I would be a good fit for the job and was basically just informed about what he position would involve. I believe a background check is a good thing to do for potential candidates, but this experience was too much. I was sent multiple documents with multiple pages asking about my entire life, including if I had ever done illegal substances and what they were. I was asked my entire financial history, as well as a rather intensive personality test. After the paperwork was complete and sent to the corporate office, an older gentlemen called me to follow-up on my background and personality tests. He proceeded asked me if what I wrote was true. Then it seemed he was confused because he asked me questions about things I did not write. He asked me questions about illegal substances I have never done, let alone seen in person. It seemed his intention was to catch me in a lie. I felt as if I was treated like a criminal and was asked nothing about my skillset or ability to do the job. I also had previous experience in a similar environement and provided several professional references, all of which would say I was a good fit for the position.
I realize it has been some time since this interview, but I wanted to express my concerns so that hopeful they will change their process, if not already.
