I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Santander (Newcastle, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
Extraordinary. I was approached and then thoroughly grilled and subjected to more personal investigation than when I worked for the MoD. It was unnerving and the compulsory induction day told us for an hour about how wonderful the company philosophy is, and how well staff are valued. This was then followed by an explanation of our discoverability as contractors.
Resolve customer complaints on policies and offer the customers redress where needed. Analyze customer written complaints and with knowledge completely learnt through training you had to decide wether or not the customer was due a refund on their policy
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Santander (Newcastle upon Tyne, England)
Interview
It was through REED recruitment agency, it was a basic telephone interview. No tricky questions, pretty simple.
There were 2 online tests you have to complete.
One for attention to detail and another ordering things in alphabetical order
However, REED are the worst recruitment agency I’ve ever dealt with. They delayed my starting date by Aprox 7 weeks because they made a mistake.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Santander (Newcastle, England) in Feb 2019
Interview
The interview consisted of a single phone call with some very basic questions about using a computer. The process of being hired was long and drawn out with a lot of confusion due to Reed.
