The first interview I met with two employees who would be working closely with the position of the Interior Designer. Although they said the work/life balance was definitely lacking, they seemed excited about the company and work.
The second interview was with those people, another person from the team, and one of the CEOs. The mood was totally different and left me with a negative experience. The CEO didn’t seem interested in my answers to questions.
The CEO expected full time at the office, overtime which was unpaid but earned stock in the company, and for me to return to school and get a degree. I’m still unclear how all of this was expected without a livable wage and enough hours in the day.
