I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sargent & Lundy
Interview
At first, the process was fast and efficient. I had a 45 minute video interview with a hiring manager followed by a 3 hour pannel interview with various engineers. After the pannel interview, I was told to expect an answer within two weeks. It took them over a month and a half to get back to me in spite of four follow-up emails where they commited to dealines that failed to hit. After a month and a half, they offered me a position at a lower level than the one I had applied for. By the time I received this offer, I had already accepted a significantly better one elsewhere.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sargent & Lundy (Chattanooga, TN) in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview was conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams. This was my first virtual interview; however, I was provided clear log-in instructions prior which made linking up extremely easy. Total process was comprised of five 30-minute interviews with six current employees/managers. (Four conversations with a single individual and one conversation with two.) The interviews provided me with time to fully explain my background, answer situational questions, and then I was provided time to ask questions as well. All the employees I spoke to provided excellent insight on their experience with Sargent and Lundy. Even though lengthy interviews like this can be arduous, the manner in which the conversations were conducted made for an extremely pleasant and informative experience.
