One Zoom interview with two departmental leads. It was 45 minutes. I cannot adequately express how awful that conversation was. One interviewer is incredibly arrogant, abrasive, and rude. I am a qualified candidate, and I was spoken down to and within the first five minutes I wanted to end the call and withdraw my application. The interviewer also seemed to have a smirk on his face from the first minute of the meeting. I can say I have never felt so disrespected and dealt with unprofessionalism in any other interview. I’ve also never desired to reach out to a company’s HR team before that I didn’t even work for! (I didn’t). Remember that the interview stage is the absolute best the company will ever treat you. So I suggest you don’t even go through the motions and simply apply elsewhere.
