I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ScalePad in May 2026
Interview
Talent screening > behavioural/technical/design conversation with tech leadership > deep-dive with the specific team you would be joining.
Excellent experience, clearly a thoughtful and collaborative team and leadership. Many practical and probing questions and no LeetCode.
Learned a lot about the role and how to be successful at ScalePad.

Question 1
How would current or former teammates describe you
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ScalePad in Jan 2026
Interview
Although I declined the offer, I would still consider them for future opportunities. It was an enjoyable and organized experience from initial recruitment to final offer.
What stood out to me was the:
-Fast, informative recruitment process
-Knowledgeable, personable, and self-aware hiring team
-Willingness to accommodate during negotiations
I declined because the overall package and timing of the offer didn’t meet my needs. I will still keep an eye out for future opportunities and refer my network to consider them.

Question 1
How I work in an unstructured environment with minimal guidance
Very professional and well-organized interview process, emphasizing overall system design, architecture, and integration rather than deep code implementation. Clear communication, structured discussion, and thoughtful questions reflected a mature technical evaluation.
